PTFA EVENTS

 

St Joseph ’s PTFA Meeting - Monday 16^th March 2009

Previous Minutes

 

·         Thankyou to Mr Taylor for the very kind donation of products for the Christmas fair.

Easter Egg Bingo                               Friday 20^th March 2009

·         Doors open 6.30pm to start at 7pm , aim to finish by 9pm .

·         So far sold approx. 70 tickets, capacity for 100.  Text message to be sent out to remind parents.

·         Confirmed use of kitchen – Liz Lawryshyn to organise chilli, jacket potatoes & hot dogs.  Possibly also do waffles.

·         Sally to organise drinks from Costco.

·         Wine to be sold via raffle tickets with cash raffle at end.

·         Additional activities to include stand up bingo, count the bunnies game and Easter egg scratch cards.

·         Volunteers required to help set up, waitress & sell stand up bingo tickets

 

Bedding Plant Sale

 

·         Orders in by 1^st April, deliveries 15^th May

·         Order forms to go out TW

·         Organise for some leaflets to be placed at back of Church.

·         Carolyn to help Sally with orders 3^rd April am

·         Helpers required for the 15^th May

Uniform Sale

 

·         Date set for Thursday 21^st May after school.

·         Lost Property to be included if not claimed by the week before.

·         Lisa.L. & Carolyn to organise laundry of lost property.

Bags 2 School

 

·         Dates set for 21^st April and 6^th November 2009 .

·         To request a 10.15 pick up.

·         Text to be sent out day before.

 

Bag For Life

 

·         Sally to break costing down and distribute so a decision can be made.

·         Lead time approx. 4 weeks so need to order after Easter.

·         Possibly check out any alternative companies.

 

Summer Fair

 

·         Date set for Friday 26^th June 2009 .  Details to be discussed at next meeting.

PTFA  Account

 

·         150 club money needs transferring into PTFA account.

·         Excess calendar money also needs adding.

·         Use of funds to be discussed with teachers when the exact sum has been finalised.
